Manoj is founder director of Choice International UK. He is also a Wheelchair Tennis player. He lives in the UK as he is an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and plays ITF tournaments representing India. He is passionate about promoting Wheelchair Tennis and Wheelchair Basketball in India and overseas.
Via Choice International he introduced Wheelchair Basketball in India and initiated the establishment of the Wheelchair Basketball Federation of India (WBFI) in October 2014.
Manoj has both academic and professional experience in disability sports, equality, diversity, inclusion, and international development. He has a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and is a fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD).
Throughout his career he has worked on promoting disability equality, disability sports, fitness, diversity and inclusion. Manoj has also helped organisations comply with legislative requirements and in the promotion of the business case for equality, diversity and inclusion. His experience includes sports, coaching, workforce equality and management, cultural integration and strategic HR planning and support.
Manoj has led many international disability development projects, in particular around disability sports development. Manoj also has several years of experience advising and training international NGOs on mainstreaming disability equality
